Clandon Golf ‘Linden Allotment Charity Day’.

Friday 20th Oct saw a welcome lull in storm Babet which was just what was needed for Clandon Golf’s second allotment charity day, following on from last year’s successSome 60 golfers played in this prestigious tournament, coming from Golf Clubs all over the South of England to play. The Green keepers did a splendid job in making our course amazing, although they had their revenge on many holes, making for fun and higher scores! Golfers also bought cheats such as “Kick it out” a Donald Trump special from the rough.A huge thank you to all the staff at Clandon, who made this event work and all the golfers who played. We raised well over £1,500 for this amazing charity helping Autistic young adults in Surrey.Winner – Malcolm Bairstow 40Winning Lady – Emma HallLongest Drive – Peter ClarkNearest the Pin – Simon SmithBest Legs – Bernie CohenBest dressed – Graham GoughSeveral other frivolous prizes were awardedThank you allMark Sutcliffe.  Linden Allotment – https://www.thesimontrust.org/
